The Glasfloss 12x22x1 furnace air filter offers superior performance with MERV 10 rating (Minimum Efficiency Rating Value). Due to higher MERV 10 rating, it holds more micro dust particles, lint, mold, pollen, debris, dust mites & bacteria compare to MERV 8 filters.
FILTER MEDIA: The Glasfloss filters are made with 100% Synthetic Non-Woven Fibers offers higher MERV rating, low resistance to air flow, high holding dust capacity and do not absorb moisture and resist microbial growth.
TEST RESULTS: ALL the Glasfloss filters are rigorously tested under ASHRAE 52.2 test procedures for MERV rating 10. The Glasfloss filters are classified under UL Standard 900 for flammability requirement and maximum operating temperature limit is 1800F.
V-PLEATS DESIGN: The Glasfloss V-Pleats design increase the surface area of contact with Air Flow hence collect maximum micro dust particles, lint, molds, bacteria, pollen and debris. It offers less resistance to air flow which save in energy.
FILTER MEDIA SUPPORT/FRAME: A heavy duty, galvanized, recycled expanded metal reinforcement shall be laminated to the air exit side of the media to maintain the structural integrity of the radial pleats. An ecofriendly, two-piece, moisture, media to avoid air leakage from filter assembly.
